Just opened in summer 2006 this city centre self catering two bedroom apartment is only minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants of Glasgow, and will sleep up to 6 people. There is two generous sized bedrooms; one with an ensuite shower room; a small balcony, Cable TV with over 40 channels, telephone and Broadband Internet access for laptops, make this contemporary apartment the sensible, affordable alternative to city centre hotels or B&B's. Available for nightly or weekly rental.
The Icon Building is a recent development comprising of luxury flats. A lift serves all floors and there are no steps to climb to enter the apartment. Located on the third floor, the apartment faces the river and affords 180' views. The heating is controlled by gas central heating with thermostatic radiators in all rooms. All kitchen appliances are integrated. The private balcony is accessed through patio doors from the lounge. A secure communal door to the street has videophone entry. Parking is available next to the apartment. On-street parking is metered between 08.00 am and 6.00 pm after which time it is free.
The Rooms
The accommodation comprises of a large lounge with a small balcony with a side view of the river, dinning area and separate kitchen. There are two bedrooms (one en-suite) and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances including a full size fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. The double oven is electric with a gas hob and a microwave.
The rooms are allocated as follows:
:: Bedroom 1 ensuite shower/wc with double bed , drawers and wardrobe.
:: Bedroom 2 twin beds, drawers and large fitted wardrobe.
:: Lounge 2 sofas; one is a double bed settee, dining table and 6 chairs.
:: TV DVD player & cable TV channels. Telephone for local free calls, Broadband Internet connection modem. Stereo CD Player and radio.
:: Towels and Bedding supplied. A travel cot and high chair are available for a small extra charge. A utility credit is given for all rentals.

Apartment Extras
1. Key collection between 6-10pm £60.00 (Mon-Sat).
2. Sunday Key collection between 2-5.30pm £60.00.
3. Travel cot £5.00 for duration of stay.
4. High Chair £5.00 for duration of stay.
5. Weekly cleaning service £45.00.
6. Daily maid service £20.00.
7. Cleaning surcharge for two night bookings £45.00.
8. Satalite Navigation hire £25.00 per week (£100 security deposit.)
9. Pay as you Go mobile phone hire £10.00 per week (£100 security deposit)
10. Cancellation Insurance 10% of booking (minimum of £45)
£10.00 Utilities credit given upon commencement of stay (£5 for gas and £5 for electricity). Additional use charged and deducted from deposit.
